Agnes "Ag" R. Wimmer Obit

AGNES "AG" R. WIMMER, 92, of Baxter, formerly of Deerwood, died at Diamond Willow in Baxter on Sept. 25, 2021.  She was born in St. Paul on June 15, 1929 to Henry and Clara (Long) Knaff.  She graduated from Derham Hall High School in St. Paul, class of 1948. She married Alexander Wimmer on May 13, 1950 in St. Paul.  She was a retired proofreader for The Wanderer Catholic Newspaper in St. Paul and was a volunteer at St. Joseph’s Medical Center in St. Paul. Preceding her in death are her parents; her husband, Alexander; and two sisters, Lucille Wanshura and Mary Popelka. She is survived by her sons and daughter-in-law, Rick and Pat Wimmer of Deerwood and Jim Wimmer of Woodbury; four grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. A private family service was held.   Arrangements were with the Koop Funeral Home in Crosby.
