Albert "Tom" Liedman Obit

ALBERT "TOM" LIEDMAN, 70, of Baxter, died peacefully on Jan. 2, 2021.   Tom had a great zest for life and lived each day with joy. He loved his family, caretakers, pretty girls, boat rides, Paul Bunyan, Dairy Queen, church, Monday spaghetti nights, coffee, a cold beer with his brothers, The Wizard of Oz, and Eli Platisha. He taught everyone he met, family, friends, acquaintances, and strangers about compassion, understanding, patience, and acceptance. Tom was preceded in death by his parents, Helen and Albert Liedman. Tom is survived by his loving siblings and spouses, Bonnie and Jim of Tampa, FL, Ron and Cindy of Eagan and John and Kristi of St. Bonifacius, nephews and spouses  Jason and Gloria Kochalka, John and Tina Kochalka, Justin and Abby Kochalka, Tyler and Jamie Liedman, Bryan and Stephanie Liedman and nieces Allison Liedman and Sarah Liedman. The family would like to thank everyone in the community for the many acts of kindness shown towards Tom over his lifetime and the wonderful staff at Basswood Group Home and Lutheran Social Services who took such wonderful care of him for many years. A celebration of Tom’s life will be held at Deerwood Cemetery on Tuesday, July 6 at 10:30 a.m. followed by a luncheon.
