Alvin "Al" Stewart Jensen Obit

ALVIN "AL"STEWART JENSEN, 86, of Emily, died at his home on May 7, 2023.  He was born in Minneapolis on Feb. 3, 1937 to Carl and Grace (Jones) Jensen.   He married Patricia Moore on April 29, 1961 in Iowa. He has been a resident of Emily since 1970.  He was a former police chief for the city of Emily with 14 years of service and  a retired Mason in the Emily area. Preceding him in death are his parents; his wife, Patricia and two brothers. Al is survived by four daughters and sons-in-law, Judy and Mike Starry and Virginia Rodriguez all of Emily, Connie and Arnie  Glass of Outing and Rachael Molstrom of Hastings; one sister, Sandra Hemp of Brooklyn Park; nine grandchildren, six great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild. Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Thursday, May 11 at the Wesleyan Church in Emily.  Burial will be at the Pine Ridge Cemetery in Emily. A visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the church on Thursday.   Arrangements are with the Koop Funeral Home in Crosby.
