ATV CLub receives $25,000 form IRRRB

The meeting of the Iron Range Resources and Rehabilitation Board held in Eveleth Thursday, Dec.19, The Over The Hills Gang ATV Club received unanimous approval from the board for our $25,000 regional trail grant request to help with the construction of the Emily Blind Lake Trail. This grant helps us fulfill our obligation to raise 35 percent of the construction funds (roughly $40,000) needed to construct this new trail connecting the Emily-Outing ATV Trails to the Aitkin County Blind Lake Trail. OTHG Treasurer, Jim Remington, and Club President, Perry May, attended the IRRRB meeting.
Appreciation was extended to State Representative Dale Lueck, and State Senator Carrie Ruud who represent our legislative district, where the new trail will be constructed, and also board members of  IRRRB.
