Barbara Ann Hoglund Hubbard Obit

BARBARA ANN (HOGLUND) HUBBARD was born in Virginia on Aug. 24, 1944 and peacefully left this world on Dec. 3, 2021 in Mesa, AZ, with her loved ones by her side. Barb is survived by her husband of 55 years, Dick, her daughters Beth (Craig) and Jenny (Brian), granddaughters Nicole (Chris) and Kayla; grandson Matthew and great-grandsons Hudson, Jackson and Harrison, brother Stephan Hoglund (Susan) and countless friends and extended family. Barb worked many jobs throughout her life but her volunteer work will be most remembered and respected by all. She affected change in many lives throughout her years with a national women's organization called WAABI (World Association of the Alcohol Beverage Industries) as a director and national board member as well as Chapter president and their work with Sky Ranch for Boys. She enjoyed her time working for the City of Emily in the Zoning Office and she was a committed member of the Emily Day Celebration committee for 20 some years. She was a go-getter and loved helping others with anything they needed. Her zest for life, desire for connection and fun and the love she shared with everyone will be remembered and carried on by those most dear to her.
