Betty Stirewalt Obit

Betty E. Stirewalt, 82, of Deerwood, died on Aug. 24, 2019 at the Cuyuna Regional Care Center in Crosby.  She was born on Dec. 4, 1936 in Crosby to Chester and Alice (Duzan) Christensen.  
Preceding her in death are her parents; her husband, Clarence “Jim”; two sons, Steven and Sammy Stirewalt; a grandson, and a granddaughter; two brothers, Harvey and Bill Christensen and one sister, Linda Christen.
She is survived by two sons and daughters-in-law, Daniel and Leilani Stirewalt of Crosby and Jerry and Uli Stirewalt of Brainerd; three daughters and sons-in-law, Debra and Mark Soderman of Cottage Grove, Diane and Ken Billick of Green Bay, WI and Rhonda and Wayne Fuller of Wanatah, IN; four brothers and sisters-in-law, Ronald and Mary Lee  Christensen, Douglas and Judy Christensen, John and Sharon Christensen all of Deerwood; Dave Christensen of New Iberia, LA; three sisters and brothers-in-law Dee and Lester Chileen, Lois Bayliss all of Crosby and  Pauline and Roger Johnson of Sartell; 21 grandchildren and 30 great-grandchildren.
A Memorial Gathering will be on Saturday, Aug.  31 from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. at the Koop Funeral Home in Crosby.
