Beverly Appledorn Melby Obit

BEVERLY APPLEDORN MELBY, 92, died Nov. 14, 2020 in Casa Grande, AZ. She was born Nov. 8, 1928 in Hardwick to Conrad and Zena Appledorn. She married Loyd Melby in December, 1947.
She grew up in Crosby and graduated from Crosby Ironton High School in 1946. She met Loyd Melby later that year in a club in Aitkin. They married in December 1947 and embarked on a long and loving relationship that lasted 73 years.  Their life journey included a road trip in their RV, visiting almost every state in the continental U.S. They eventually settled in Casa Grande, AZ and have lived there for 25 years.
She is preceded in death by her parents and siblings: Conrad, Arthur, John, and Sherrill; her son Gregory and son-in-law John Stillwell.
She is survived by  her  husband Loyd, sons Michael and Jeffrey; daughters Rebecca Stillwell and Cynthia Roberts; 11 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.
Funeral services to be determined at a future date.
