Booth recognized at Boys' State
Sunday, June 18, Alan Booth of Deerwood was recognized at the closing ceremony of the 73rd Minnesota American Legion Boys State for his 15 years of service to the program. Booth was a Boys State delegate, sponsored by the Myrin-James American Legion Post #443 in 2006 where he was selected as an Outstanding Boys Stater. Booth currently serves on the Minnesota Boys State planning board and is the safety and security officer for the week of the program.
