Calvin Norby Obit

CALVIN L. Norby, 80, of Riverton, died on Aug. 22, 2019 at the Cuyuna Regional Care Center in Crosby.  He was born on Sept. 6, 1938 in Quiring Township to Clarence and Nina (Caldwell) Norby.  Cal married Karen Mayotte on Sept. 6, 1980 in Minneapolis.  He was a retired machinist for Parker Hannifin.  Cal was an avid sportsman.
Preceding Cal in death are his parents; one son, Michael Patrick Berg and one brother, Jerry Sloan.
Cal is survived by his wife Karen; two sons, Brian (Tyra) Berg of Ironton and Rodney (Danielle) Berg of Merrifield; two sisters, Carol (John) Boyt and Lorraine Pfouts all of Anchorage, AL; six grandchildren, Marcus (Jessica) Berg, Madison Berg, Miranda Berg, Jacob Berg, Kayla Berg, Kai Berg; one great-grandson, Kayden Calvin Berg.
A Memorial Gathering will be held at the Koop Funeral Home in Crosby from 2 to 5 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 7 with a Sharing of Memories at 3:30 p.m.
