Donald Sabyan Obit

DONALD SABYAN, longtime resident of Pequot Lakes, passed away at St. Cloud Hospital due to complications of COVID-19 on Dec. 13, 2020. He was born June 1, 1936, in Crosby to Joseph and Veronica (DeCent) Sabyan. He married Beverly Ross on Aug. 23, 1958.
Don loved to spend time with family and friends. He appreciated the outdoors and was an avid hunter and fisherman. Don was a longtime member and retired Chief of the Pequot Lakes Fire Department. He will be truly missed by all that knew him.
Don is survived by sons, Joel (Sue) Sabyan, of St. Cloud; Stuart (Karen) Sabyan, of Prescott, AZ; Stephen (Jennifer) Sabyan, of Peoria AZ; daughter, Julie Anderson, of Phoenix, AZ; brothers, Thomas Sabyan, of Hermantown; and Archie Sabyan, of Crosby; sister-in-law, seven grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph and Veronica; wife, Beverly; brothers, Edward, Gerald, twin brother Ronald Sabyan; two sisters, Betty Ravnik and Gloria Perpich.

Rest in peace, Dad. We will never forget our times together. You helped make us who we are today. You are in a better place, and the pain of this earth is gone.
