Jerry Lee Bjerkness Obit

JERRY LEE BJERKNESS, 70, of Blackduck, MN, died on Monday, Nov. 30, 2020 at Sanford Bemidji Medical Center in Bemidji, MN.
Interment is planned for the Spring/Summer 2021 at Macville Cemetery in Swatara, MN.
Jerry was born Jan. 30, 1950 in Crosby to Carl and Helen (Bailey) Bjerkness.  He attended school in Crosby-Ironton. Jerry enjoyed puzzle collecting, painting ceramics, watching movies, and listening to his favorite music.
Jerry is survived by his daughters, Theresa (Stacey) Handshoe of Hazard, KY and Connie Bjerkness-Derosier of Merrifield, MN; seven grandsons and three granddaughters; siblings, James Bjerkness of Hill City, MN, Timothy Bjerkness, Barbara Doust, and Mary Scheldrup of Blackduck, MN; a special friend, Rose Nasholts; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
He is preceded in death by his parents; and sons Jonathan Lee Bjerkness and Robbie Lee Bjerkness.
