JoAnn Ruby Holmin Obit

JoANN RUBY HOLMIN, 81, of Ironton, died on March 5, 2023. She was born on June 17, 1941, to Russell and Wilma (Manson) Essig in Minneapolis. She graduated from high school and worked for many years as a wallpaper hanger in Las Vegas, NV. She was married to Robert Holmin, Sr. on April 24, 1976. JoAnn enjoyed going to auctions, fishing, gardening and crafting with her grandchildren. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her. She was preceded in death by her parents, one brother Walt and brother-in-law Brad Ray. She is survived by her husband, Robert; nine children Jeff Kelsay, Jerry Kelsay, Bonnie Cumming, Rick Holmin, Robert Holmin, Jr, Carrie Holmin, Daniel Holmin, Shane Holmin and Crystal Holmin; many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild and five siblings. In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred. Funeral services will take place at 11 a.m. on Sunday, March 12 at the Brenny Family Funeral Chapel in Baxter. A visitation will take place one hour prior to services.
