Laura L. Gottschalk

LAURA L. GOTTSCHALK, 103, died on April 22, 2020 at the Cuyuna Regional Care Center in Crosby.  She was born on May 29, 1916 in Leaf Valley to Henry and Ida (Froemming) Grosenick. She  attended school and graduated from the Alexandria High School.   She has been a resident in the Crosby area since 1994.  
She moved here in 1994 from Lapeer, MI, where her and her husband helped in Lutheran ministries.  She was a member of the Zion Lutheran Church in Crosby, where she was involved in the Ladies Aid, choir and quilting.
She is survived by two sons and daughters-in-law John and Ardelle Gottschalk of Richfield and Mark and Carol Gottschalk of Midlothian, VA; two daughters and sons-in-law, Gwen and Chuck Kienholz of Baxter and Mary Gail and Richard Simpson of Groton, CT; eight grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
Preceding her in death are her parents; her husband, Lester; four brothers and five sisters.
A private graveside services is being held at the St. Paul’s Lutheran Cemetery in Wilbert.  
Arrangements are with the Koop Funeral Home in Crosby.
