Mary Jean Soggie Obit

MARY JEAN SOGGIE, 89, died Jan. 4, 2021 in Gresham, OR at the Prestige Senior Living Huntington Terrace. She was born July 20, 1931 in Crosby to Kurt and Josephine Haselhurst. She married her high school classmate, Edward Soggie on Dec. 3, 1983,
She worked as an executive secretary in Minnesota, California and finally in Tacoma, WA. She worked for many years at the Puyallup County Fair and enjoyed line dancing with friends. She was a member of St. Andrew Catholic Church in Sumner, WA where she was an active participant in the women’s community and the Altar Society.
She was preceded in death by her husband Ed Soggie, parents, sister Audrey Haselhurst Mirau and brother Bill Haselhurst.
She is survived by stepchildren Jeff Soggie and Jill Soggie, nieces and nephews and many great and great-great nieces and nephews.
Services will be at Gresham Memorial Chapel, Gresham, OR at a future date with burial in Woodbine Cemetery, Puyallup WA
