Robert 'Bob' Alexander Bodle Obit

ROBERT "BOB" ALEXANDER BODLE,  93, of Emily, died on March 3, 2023 at the Cuyuna Regional Care Center in Crosby.  He was born on Feb. 19, 1930 in Ross Lake Township to Leonard and Carol (Huges) Bodle. He  was a U.S. Navy Korean War veteran. He married Margarette “Mugs” Frink on May 4, 1934 in Fairfield Township. Preceding him in death are his parents, his wife Margarette who died in November of 2022, two brothers, Albert and Arthur Bodle and two sisters, Elizabeth McCoy and Charlotte Frink. He is survived by two sons and daughters-in-law, Marlen and Sandra Bodle and Rory and LuAnn Bodle all of Emily; two daughters, Robyn Monson of Hibbing and Melissa Boyer of Plymouth; one brother, Jack Bodle of Longview, WA and two sisters, Eva Starry of Crosby and Donna Hite of Emily. A Graveside Service will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, May 20 at the Pine Ridge Cemetery in Emily with military honors presented by the Myrin-James American Legion Post #443, Ironton.   Arrangements are with the Koop Funeral Home in Crosby.
