Robert "Bob" Hagel, Sr. Obit

ROBERT "BOB" MELVIN HAGEL, SR., 75, Brainerd, died on Friday, April 17, 2020 at home surrounded by his loving family. 
He was born on Feb. 4, 1945 in Crosby to Melvin and Lillian (Palmer) Hagel.  He met his wife, Melodee Ann Roff and they were married on Dec. 15, 1968 at Zion Lutheran Church in Brainerd.  Together they had three children.
He enjoyed many things in life, deer hunting with his sons, fishing trips all over the Brainerd Lakes Area, Lake Mille Lacs, Lake of the Woods, as well as around Parkers Prairie.   He loved to garden, cook and grill and watch his John Wayne movies.  His greatest love was his wife, Melodee, his kids, grandkids and great-grandkids.
 He was preceded in death by his parents: Melvin and Lillian (Palmer) Hagel and brother Ray Hagel.
Bob is survived by his wife of 51 years, Melodee; sons and daughters-in-law Robert M. Hagel Jr. and Michael and Jennifer Hagel; daughter and son-in-law Kristina and Mark Tiede; nine grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
