Scholarships for students enrolled in Law Enforcement available

Crow Wing County Sheriff Scott Goddard would like to make the public aware that the Law Enforcement Scholarship Program for 2019 is now accepting applications.
The Minnesota Sheriff’s Association is awarding up to 15 scholarships for 2019 in the amount of $600 each. The scholarships will be announced by Saturday, Dec. 28. Students currently enrolled in one of the following three categories are eligible to apply:
1. Mandated post-secondary education skills program;
2. The second year of a two-year law enforcement program; or
3. The third or fourth year of a four-year college criminal justice program.
To qualify, students must have completed at least one year of a two-year program or two years of a four-year program. Applications for the scholarship are available at the Crow Wing County Sheriff’s Office or on-line at: www.mnsheriffs.org.
