Stephen J. Barber Celebration of Life

STEPHEN J. BARBER, 75, of Rabbit Lake Township, died on Nov. 28, 2020 at the Cuyuna Regional Medical Center in Crosby.  He was born on March 16, 1945 in Brainerd to Benjamin and Amy (Butler) Barber.  He was a U.S. Army veteran serving with the 82nd Air Borne.  He  married Cheryl Dehning on Nov. 24, 1963 in Aitkin.  He was a Structural Iron Worker, Local 563, Duluth with 25 years of service and a retired Cuyuna Fireman.
Preceding him in death are his parents; one brother, David Barber and one sister Katherine Paulson.
He is survived by his wife Cheryl; two sons and a daughter-in-law, Greg Barber of Aitkin and Grant and Jeanne Barber of Farmington; two sisters and brothers-in-law, Mary and Ben Sandberg of Glencoe and Sarah and Reggie Bever of Chugiak, AK; four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
A Celebration of Life will be held Saturday, May 1 from 1 to 4 p.m. at the Cuyuna Fire Hall in Cuyuna.
