JAMES RYAN ANDERSON, 34, of Crosby, passed away on Sept. 19, 2025. He was born on Dec. 19, 1990, in Glendive, MT, to Edward Anderson and Jennifer Ulrich. James was an avid Minnesota Vikings fan who rarely missed a game and cheered on his team with unmatched passion. He was equally devoted to coaching, pouring his heart into football and baseball, though football always held the biggest piece of his heart. Beyond the field, James lived for his family—his wife, Brandi, and his children, who were truly his world.

CECELIA ROSE BURGWALD, 88. of Irondale Township, passed away on Sept. 21, 2025, at the Cuyuna Regional Medical Center in Crosby. She was born on Sept. 1, 1937 in Crosby to Ernest and Mary (Grimler) Burgwald. She was a member of the College of St. Benedict Alumni, class of 1959. She was a retired elementary school teacher with 34 years of service to the Ely and Anoka-Hennepin School Districts. She was a member of St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Crosby.
