AL SCHROEDER, formerly of New Richmond, WI and Crosby, MN, passed away on Tuesday, Feb. 3, 2026 at age 94. Born in Farming, MN in 1931, he grew up on a dairy farm in Two Inlets, MN. A proud U.S. Air Force veteran of 21 years, he worked as an aircraft electrician and then in radar electronics, serving in seven states, Iceland and southeast Asia. Later careers included heating and refrigeration repair and large building heating and cooling plant operation and maintenance. Al was known for his ability to build or repair nearly anything.

Roberta Maxine Chapman Obit

ROBERTA MAXINE CHAPMAN, 97, of Arden Hills, died on Dec. 25, 2025 at St. John's Hospital in Maplewood. She was born July 19, 1928 in Kellerton, IA to Truman, Sr. and Lula Baker. She married Bernard Leroy Chapman on June 20, 1948 in Des Moines, IA. She was a secretary in Iowa government for 35 years and was a former owner of Rogers Lake Resort in Emily. After retirement, they moved to their lake home at Roger Lake and spent summers at the lake and wintered in the south, especially enjoying their time in Biloxi, MS. In 2016, they moved to Heartwood Senior Living Community in Crosby.

CYNTHIA DIANE EGAN, 75, of Crosby, passed away on Feb. 1, 2026 at her home. She was born in Carlsbad, CA on Feb. 25, 1952 to Raymond and Marjorie (Lovdahl) Egan. She is survived by her husband Dave; her son, Jody Van Sickle and her daughter, Joline Van Sickle; and one sister, Phyllis Hensel. Preceding Cynthia in death are her parents. No services are being held. Arrangements are with the Koop Funeral Home in Crosby.
