JEROME "JERRY" E. NOLTE, 83, of Brainerd and formerly of Fairmont and Eden Prairie,  died on March 12 at the St. Cloud Hospital.
Services will be Saturday, March 21 at the Lakeview Funeral Home in Fairmont. Burial will be held at a later date at Lakeside Cemetery in Fairmont.
There will be a memory service this spring in Deerwood for his friends and snowbirds.

ELMER R. TREFETHEN, 96, of Crosby, died on March 9, 2020 at Essentia St. Joseph’s Medical Center in Brainerd.  He was born on Sept. 19, 1923 in Minneapolis to George and Rose (Brosseau) Trefethen.  He was WWII Army veteran, serving at the Battle of Okinawa April 1, 1945 and Battles of Kwajalein, Leyte, Ryukyus, Northern Solomons and the Southern Phillipians Liberation. He married Joyce Anderson on Sept. 28, 1946 in St. Paul.  He was a retired Pillsbury employee at A Mill with 40 years of service. He was a member of St.

JIMMY ALLAN HUGHES, 57, of Summerville, SC, died Feb. 26, 2020 at Trident Medical Center in North Charleston, SC. He was born on Jan. 10, 1963 in El Paso, TX to Dale Eugene Hughes and Marjorie Karen Adock Hughes.
Preceding him in death are his daughter, Kylee Dale Hughes; his father, Dale Hughes; maternal grandparents and paternal grandparents.

William Alexander Becker Obit

WILLIAM ALEXANDER BECKER was born in Hibbing on Aug. 26, 1938.  Bill was the second of four sons born to Lila and Robert S. Becker.  Bill wrestled and played football at Crosby-Ironton High School and graduated in 1956.  Bill married Diane Marie Rude on Oct. 3, 1959, and they welcomed three children, Mark, Michelle and Jeanne, while stationed in Madison, WI, during 1960 through 1963.  Bill loved God, his country and his family.  He was proud of his 20 years of military service, which included serving on the Destroyer U.S.S. New during the Cuban Missile Crisis while in the U.S.

DAVID FELLERMAN, 78, of Aitkin, died on March 2, 2020 at the Hallett Cottages in Crosby. Dave was born on Oct. 29, 1941 to Arthur and Lydia (Dangers) Fellermann in Crosby.  He married Lynn (Steinke) Fellerman on May 18, 1968 at St. John’s Lutheran Church of Cedarbrook.

MICHAEL E. LUBY, 69, of Crosby, died on Feb. 25, 2020 at the Cuyuna Regional Care Center in Crosby.  He was born on Feb. 16, 1951 in Crosby to Edward and Ruth (Marsh) Luby.  He attended the Crosby-Ironton High School.  He was an employee of the City of Crosby and Oberg Fence in Deerwood.  He enjoyed going to the Demolition Derby and watching WWF.
Preceding him in death are his parents.

Theresa Tysk Obit

THERESA TYSK, 75, of Menagha died on Feb. 22, 2020 at the St. Cloud Hospital.  She was born on Dec. 19, 1944 in Crumlin, Northern Ireland to Earl and Teresa (Bell) Wolford.  She married James Tysk on April 25, 1964 in Crosby.  Theresa is a retired Lutheran Pastor with Faith Communities in Stevensville, Missoula and Polson, MT and Menahga.  She was an avid registered Arabian horse woman.
Preceding Theresa in death are her parents and one brother, Laurence Wolford.

Carrie Jane (Tscheu) Swanson Obit

CARRIE JANE (TSCHEU) SWANSON died at her home in Binford, ND on Feb. 22, 2020. She was born to Douglas and Suzanne (Thoms) Tscheu Sept. 18, 1965 in St. Louis Park.
She enjoyed spending her time hunting, restoring old vehicles, collecting antiques, crafting, gardening, caprentry work and spending time with her family. She was a woman with many talents.
