Allan J. Franz obit

ALLAN J. FRANZ, 74, of Crosby, died on Nov. 16, 2020 at Cuyuna Regional Care Center in Crosby.  He was born in Aitkin on Feb. 25, 1946 to John and Loretta (Zigan) Franz.  He was a retired employee of the Grand Casino Mille Lacs Lake with 20 years of service.  He was a member of St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Crosby.
Preceding him in death are his parents and two brothers, John and Conrad Franz.
He is survived by one brother and sister-in-law, Ted  and Julie Franz of Pillager; five sisters and brothers-in-law, Rosemary Barnes of Brainerd; Nancy and Terry Morgan of Aitkin; Audrey and Dennis Schumacher of Arden Hills; Elizabeth Lyons of Grand Rapids and Theresa Franz of Brainerd and numerous nieces and nephews.
Mass of Christian burial will be 11 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 21 at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Crosby.  Burial will be at the St. Thomas Cemetery in Aitkin.  Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the church on Saturday.
