Anna Vranish Obit

ANNA VRANISH, formerly of Midland, MI, joined her beloved husband Sam on Nov. 26, 2020 in eternal life. Anna was born Dec. 17, 1930 to parents James and Irene Temple of Crosby where she graduated high school and worked in their family restaurant, the Crystal Cafe. She married the love of her life, Sam Vranish, on Oct. 18, 1952.
Anna was a loving wife, mother, sister, aunt, and friend to many. She was known for her kindness and generosity. She was an active member of Holy Family Episcopal church where she was affectionately known as "The Donut Lady". In addition, she volunteered at the local food bank and Cook Elementary School until her husband's retirement from The Dow Chemical Company. Anna loved spending her time with family and friends, cooking, gardening, traveling and the arts.
She is survived by her children; Mark (Marsha) Vranish of White Lake, MI, Marcia (Ted) Liberski of Grand Rapids, MI, Sharyl (Michael) McClear of Lake Orion, MI, and Susan (Gil) Bernal of Phoenix, AZ. Grandchildren Christopher, Nic, Lindsey, Michael, Gabrielle, Sam, Max, Jacob, Courtney, Jack, William, Gib, and Tony. Great-grandchildren Jaelyn, Morgan, Amelia, Benjamin, Jaxon, Raelyn, and Isaac. Brothers George (Marlie) Temple of Eagan, and Alex (Zeola) Temple of Sun City, AZ; brothers in law Jack (Joan) Vranish of Virginia, and Bob (Joyce) Vranish of Baxter, and sister-in-law Nancy Rothwell of Pinehurst, ID.
She was preceded in death by her parents James and Irene Temple, husband Sam Vranish, brother Angelo Temple, and son-in-law Todd Christiansen.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Salvation Army, Midland Center for the Arts, or Tunnel 2 Towers. A memorial service will follow at a later date.
