Arlene Esther Stromberg Obit

ARLENE ESTHER STROMBERG, 89, of Baxter, formerly of Deerwood died on Jan. 4, 2022 at Essentia St. Joseph’s Medical Center in Brainerd.  She was born on Aug. 28, 1932 in Leeds, ND to Arthur and Esther (Engstrom) Waller.  From many years she and her husband Arley owned and operated Stromberg’s Market in Deerwood.  She was a member of the Salem Lutheran Church in Deerwood, The Deerwood Civic League and the Walter Scott Erickson American Legion Auxiliary Post #557, Deerwood. Preceding her in death are her parents; her husband Arley in 2006 and one brother, Arlo “Bud” Waller. She is survived by two sons and daughters-in-law, Terry and Sandra  Stromberg of Erhard; Jay and Susan Stromberg of Deerwood; one daughter, Patty Davis of Park Rapids; two sisters and brother-in-law, Yvonne Halverson of Brainerd and Janice and David Gustafson of Renton, WA; six grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Services have been held. If desired memorials are preferred to the Salem Lutheran Church Building Fund.   Arrangements are with the Koop Funeral Home in Crosby.
