Arlene "Lynn" Ann Reem Obit

ARLENE "LYNN" ANN REEM, 68, of Grenora, ND, died on July 19, 2024, in Billings, MT. Born on June 4, 1956, in Great Falls, MT, she was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend. Throughout her life, she wore many hats. She worked as a pharmacy technician, a doctor's nurse, and served as the Promotions Director and Sales Manager for the Iditarod Sled Dog Race. She also managed four retail outlets and was a talented seamstress, creating custom wedding and prom dresses, as well as her own line of affordable children's clothing. Additionally, she  worked as a cook at a nursing home, where she was known for her warm and nurturing spirit. Her hobbies were as diverse as her many careers. She enjoyed reading, sewing, cross-stitching, gold panning, metal detecting, huckleberry picking, hiking, fishing  and camping. Her adventurous spirit took her to many places between Alaska and New York and she cherished every moment spent in nature. She will be remembered for her kindness, her creativity, and her unwavering love for her family and friends. She was a  mother to everyone she met and her legacy of love and generosity will live on in the hearts of those who knew her. She was preceded in death by her father, Earl "Pinky" Carver and her brother, Bob Carver. She is survived by her loving husband, James Reem, Sr.; her mother, Betty Sharp; her brother, Lee Carver; her sisters, Barbara and Sara; her sons, Robert Carver, Trevor Waddell, Tracy Waddell, James Reem Jr., and Mathew Reem; her daughter, Megan McKoy; 20 grandchildren; and one great-granddaughter. A Memorial Service to celebrate her life will be held at Cuyuna Lakes Community Church in Crosby on Saturday, Aug. 10 at 10:30 a.m.
