Arnold Roy Lorenson Obit

ARNOLD ROY LORENSON,  86, of Aitkin, died on April 21, 2023 at his home.  He was born on Dec. 22, 1936 in Thief River Falls to Edward and Laura (Woyach) Lorenson.  Arnold was a retired math teacher, who enjoyed spending time with family, gardening, reading, jigsaw puzzles and just being outdoors. Preceding Arnold in death are his parents, his wife Junnell (LaFrance) Lorenson; his son, Arnold Lorenson, Jr.; three brothers, one sister and two step-sisters. Arnold is survived by his wife Peggy (Geotz) Lorenson; two daughters, Laurie (Jim) Odden and Robbie (Luke) Oeltjenbruns; grandson, John Oeltjenbruns; seven step-children, Don (Chris) Smith, Sherrie (Rich) Ewischek, Bill (Erica) Smith, Arne Smith, Renee Kostohryz, Karen Hoheisel, and Abby (Mike) Geotz; 22 step-grandchildren, 14 step-great-grandchildren and two step-great-great-grandchildren and one brother, Raymond (Charlotte) Lorenson. Per Arnold’s request no services are being held.   Arrangements are with the Koop Funeral Home in Crosby.
