ATV crash injures Nebraska family

Sheriff Scott Goddard reports on Friday, July 24,  at 9:54 a.m., Crow Wing County Dispatch received a call of an ATV crash with injuries occurring on a trail through a forest area east of Minnesota State Hwy 6, south of Outing.
The vehicle was a four-seat, side-by-side model carrying a driver and three passengers. The driver, a 46-year-old male from Omaha, NE, struck a tree off of the trail. The front passenger was a 46-year old female, and the rear seats were occupied by a 9-year-old male and an 11-year-old female, all from Omaha, NE.
All parties were wearing seatbelts and helmets. All parties sustained injuries that were not life- threatening. Three of the occupants, including the two juveniles, were airlifted to unknown hospitals. There is no further information at this time during the investigation of the incident.
Assisting at the scene were air ambulances from both North Aircare and Lifelink, ground ambulances from both Cuyuna Regional Medical Center and North Ambulance, the Emily and the Crooked Lake Township Fire Departments, and multiple First responder groups.
