Barbara Kaye Larson (Craven) Obit

BARBARA KAYE LARSON (CRAVEN),  77, of Minnetonka died on Aug. 5, 2022 after a brief, but fierce battle with Alzheimer’s disease. Barb is preceded in death by her husband, Todd Craven, Sr. and her parents Arago and Lucille Larson. She is survived by her beloved family, Anastasia (Tim) Benz. Kelly (Steve) Stattman, Geoffrey Todd (Sue) Craven Jr. and Nicolle (Alex) Sellers IV, her special grandchildren, Nicholas and Zachary Benz, Emily (Scott) Greenspahn, Tyler (Amber) Stattman, Myles, Mitchell (Alicia) and Sydney Craven, Taylor and Alex (V) Sellers, great-grandchildren, Ryder and Wyatt Greenspahn and Sutton and Seely Stattman and her brother Jon (Karen) Larson and her nephew and niece Matt and Jane Larson. She will be missed by her faithful companion, Rudy, her pibald dachshund. Barb was born in Minneapolis and graduated from Waconia High School. Barb spent her professional career in the “people business.” Barb was proud to serve customers at the King’s Inn in St. Louis Park for more than a decade. Later in life, Barb and Todd became successful entrepreneurs. For nearly 25 years they owned and operated The Hallett Antique Emporium and Abbey House Antiques in Crosby. They were instrumental in having Crosby, Minnesota, named the Antiques Capital of the Lakes Area. Services have been held. Memorials preferred to Minnesota Hospice or the Alzheimer’s Association Minnesota-North Dakota. “We love you bunches!”
