Bernard "Bernie" J. Prinzing Obit

BERNARD J. "BERNIE" PRINZING, 88, of Emily, died on April 8, 2020 at his home.  He was born on April 23, 1931 in Faribault to Henry and Lucille (Duffney) Prinzing.  Bernie married Katherine Mollenhauer in Medford on Oct. 3, 1949.  He was the owner and operator of the Trader’s Palace Marine in Outing and a former owner of Vacation Properties Real Estate in Emily for 12 years.  He was a member of St. Emily’s Catholic Church and was a member of the Millwright Local 548, Minneapolis. He was an avid outdoorsman.
Preceding him in death are his parents, a brother, Duwayne Chavie and one sister Mary Chavie.
He is survived by his wife, Katherine; three daughters and son-in-law, Meri and Jack Lysne of Outing, Roxane LaBore of Emily and Beverly Horwath of Moose Lake; one brother  and sister-in-law, Stanley and Rona Chavie of Faribault; one sister and brother-in-law, Gail and Richard Cross of Faribault; six grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
A private service is being held. Burial will be at the Pine Ridge Cemetery in Emily.  
Arrangements are with the Koop Funeral Home in Crosby.
