Bernita B. Harrison Obit

BERNITA B. HARRISON, 89, of Crosby, passed away on July 20, 2025 at the Heartwood Care Center in Crosby. She was born on March 21, 1936 in LaPorte to Everett and Rozetta Palm. Bernita was united in marriage with the love of her life, Danny Harrison on June 7, 1953 in Crosby. Bernita was a retired secretary from the Crosby-Ironton High School with 35 years of service. She was a member of the Immanuel Lutheran Church in Crosby; was a retired member of the Crosby Fire Department Auxiliary; a volunteer with Kinship Partners, R.S.V.P. at the Cuyuna Regional Care Center; and Interfaith Care Giver. Bernita is survived by one daughter, Connie Harrison of Crosby; one grandchild, Luke (Stefanie) Marsh of Sauk Center; two great-grandchildren, Anthony and Oliva Marsh; one brother, Gary (Eileen) Palm of St. Anthony; and nieces and nephews. Preceding Bernita in death are her parents; her husband Daniel in 2020; one daughter, Rhonda Reynolds; one brother, Jerry Palm and one sister Gloria Dahlmann. A Memorial Service will be held at 1 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 5, at the Immanuel Lutheran Church in Crosby. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the church on Tuesday. Burial will be at the Lakewood Cemetery in Crosby. Arrangements are with the Koop Funeral Home in Crosby.
