Blake Weldon Obit

Blake Robert Weldon, 30, died unexpectedly Aug. 1, 2019 at his home in Crosby.
Blake was born May 10, 1989 in Coon Rapids to Sean and Stacy (Randelin) Weldon, and was raised and graduated from Princeton High School. He attended UMD, community colleges in Superior and Coon Rapids, before graduating with a degree in robotics at Central Lakes College in Staples in 2017. He worked in robotics and electrical mechanics. Blake enjoyed working on cars, biking the many Cuyuna trails, being on the lake, dirt biking, and shooting bow and guns. He always loved spending time with his family and friends, and playing with Logan and Lincoln.
Blake is survived by his significant other and loving soulmate, Kya Hollister and her sons Logan and Lincoln; parents, Sean and Stacy Weldon; brother, Chase Weldon; sister Allyson “Ally” Weldon; grandparents, Paulette (Ed) Oja, Dale (Anita) Randelin, John (Becky) Whight, and many loving aunts, uncles, and cousins.
He is preceded in death by grandparents Robert and Marian Weldon; uncle, Michael Weldon; aunt, Renee Weldon; uncle, Jerry Sondergard; cousin, Lindsey Philaya; and second cousin, Leah Rae Sorenson.
Services will be held at noon Monday, Aug. 12 at Timberwood Church in Nisswa, with visitation starting at 10 a.m. Interment will be at Greenwood Cemetery in Nisswa.
Memorials preferred in lieu of flowers to the Blake Weldon Memorial Fund, which will made donations to the Epilepsy Foundation, the Scholarship Fund for a student attending Central Lakes College for a Robotics Degree or Logan and Lincoln Picha College Fund.
