Bonnie Jeanne Johnson Obit

BONNIE JEANNE JOHNSON, 86, of Deerwood, passed away at her home on Jan. 18, 2025. She was born to Elmer and Mabel Anderson on April 4, 1938 in Crosby. She was a 50-year member of the Walter Scott Erickson Post #557 Auxiliary Unit of Deerwood. She enjoyed traveling, fishing, hunting, gardening, cooking and the outdoors. She was preceeded in death by her parents; her first husband Robert DeCent, Sr.; and one brother Raymond Anderson. She is survived by her husband Gerald “Jerry” Johnson of Deerwood, two sisters, Elaine Butorac and Betty Brager, both of Crosby; three children Robert (Mary Ellen) DeCent, Jr., Brainerd, Deanna Nichols (Ryan Hanson), Crosby, and Connie Perpich, Crosby; two step-daughters, Kristina Michealson, Blaine and Deb (Pat) Lew, Anoka; 17 grandchildren, 36 great-grandchildren and 14 great-great-grandchildren. No services are planned at this time. Special recognition is given to Knute Nelson Home Health Care  and the Cremation Society of Minnesota.
