Bruce Norby Obit

BRUCE NORBY died Feb. 19 of Alzheimer's. He was born to Norma (Tately) and Palmer Norby April 11, 1946. He wed Patricia Curyl June 8, 1966 and completed two years of service in the U.S. Army. He began a sales career in heavy equipment and was president and part owner of American Crane Service of North Dakota in Bismarck. He ended his sales career with Gilbert Mechanical in Minnesota. He was a proud member of AA for 43 years. He was preceded in death by his parents and three brothers Jerry, Dale and Paul Norby and sister Sharlene Westby. He is survived by his wife Pat, children Brian (Angie) Norby and Tracy Norby, eight grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. He is also survived by brother and sister-in-law Rick and Linda Norby and sister and brother-in-law Sharon and Roy Schmitz.   Funeral services will be   Friday, Feb. 28, at St. Joseph Catholic Community, 8701 36th Avenue, New Hope. Visitation at 10 a.m. with  Mass at 11 a.m. and lunch to follow.
