Carol Ann Lehti Cardille

Carol Ann Lehti Cardille, 85, of Nashwauk, passed away on Nov. 3, 2020 at Diamond Willow in Baxter.  She was born on Jan. 26, 1935 to Aaro and Aili (Airaksinen) Lehti.  Carol graduated from the Greenway High School and went on to work for the Greenway School District.  She married Jacob Cardille on July 14, 1956.  Carol retired as manager of the Nashwauk Federal Credit Union.  She was a faithful Catholic and  a  parishioner  of St. Cecilia’s Catholic Church in Nashwauk.
Preceding Carol in death are her parents.  
Carol is survived by her husband and dance partner, Jacob; three daughters, Jacki (Duane) Bobich, Mary (Robert) Ziebol, Anne (Edward) Wendt; her grand- children and greatest joy, Carolyn Ziebol, Jonathan Ziebol and Joseph Wendt; sisters, Irene Hendricks and Peggy Lehti; a brother, Jim (Jeanie) Sunnarborg;  many nieces, nephews, cousins and dear friends all filled her kind heart.  
Carol loved her family fiercely, felt strongly about home and where she came from.
Private family services were held.  Burial will be at the Minnesota State Veterans Cemetery in Little Falls at a later date. Abundant prayers of thanksgiving are being given for all who gave loving care to her.
