Dale Roger Yotter

DALE ROGER YOTTER, 93, of Merrifield, died at his home on May 14, 2021.  He was born in Wisner, NE on Dec. 31, 1927 to William and Ella (Koehler) Yotter.  He served in the U.S. Army during the Korean Conflict.  He married Hazel Lougee on March 27, 1954 in Crosby.  He was a member of the Mission of the Cross Lutheran Church in Crosslake. Preceding him in death are his parents; one sister, Doris Carr; two brothers, Kenneth and Harlow Yotter; an infant daughter, Janet Sue and one grandson, Jacob Ekstedt. He is survived by his wife Hazel; three sons and daughters-in-law, Roger and Deborah of McGregor; Steven and Trish Yotter of Lino Lakes and Todd Yotter of Merrifield; two daughters and sons-in-law, Carolyn Yotter and Kim Kurilla of Little Falls and Kay and Ed Searle of Williams; 21 grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren. A Visitation for the public will be on Wednesday at the Koop Funeral Home in Crosby from 4 to 7 p.m.  The family will have a private service and burial will be at the Pinewood Cemetery in Crosslake.  Military honors will be presented by the Myrin-James American Legion Post #443, Ironton.
