Daniel Thomas Christensen Obit

DANIEL THOMAS CHRISTENSEN, 65, of Winthrop died on Aug. 30, 2021 at the VA Heath Care  System in St. Cloud.  He was born on Feb. 2, 1956 in Crosby to Joseph and Marlys (Thoms) Christensen.  He was a U.S. Army veteran, serving two years stationed in Hawaii.  He was known to have a love for his dogs and enjoyed spending hours each day playing cards and cribbage with his close friends. Preceding him in death are his parents and one brother, Timothy Christensen. He is survived by one brother and sister-in-law, Gregory and Denise Christensen of Kingsford, MI; two sisters, Joy Christensen of Ironton and Jane (Joe Church) Weber of Florence, WI and nieces and nephews. A Graveside Service will be at 1 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 11, 2021 at the Bay Lake Township Cemetery with full military honors given by the Walter Scott Erickson American Legion Post #557 of Deerwood.   Arrangements are with the Koop Funeral Home in Crosby.
