Darryl C. Armstrong Obit

DARRYL C. ARMSTRONG, 75, of Tucson, AZ died on Sunday, July 28 at Pacifica Senior Living in Tucson, AZ. He was born Dec 9, 1949 to Joyce and Robert Armstrong. He was a 1967 graduate of Crosby-Ironton  High School, got his Bachelors at St. Cloud State and MBA at Cornell. His career was in the food industry where he became Vice President/ President of several companies including Jac Pac Foods, Beatrice Foods and Tysons Meats. After retiring he taught business and MBA level courses for American University in Kabul, Afghanistan. He had the good fortune to travel throughout much of the world, was loved and respected by friends and neighbors, co-workers in the food industry and students in Kabul, was a good provider and father and is very missed and loved by his family. He is survived by two brothers, Craig Armstrong in Timnath, CO and Scott Armstrong in Round Hill, VA and a sister Beverly Brossman of Arvada, CO. He has one son, Michael in Denver and a daughter, Dr. Rebecca Sand in Portland, OR.
