Deborah Jane Johnson Obit

Deborah Jane Johnson, 69, of Crosby, died peacefully on June 3, 2021 at her home.  She was born on Jan. 9, 1952 in Brainerd to Richard and Vietta (Rider) Rude.  She married William D. Johnson on Feb. 14, 1971 in Crosby.  She attended school in Crosby and Brainerd. Deborah came from a large family and was the oldest of six, she was known for being funny, patient and a great listener. Deb loved being a grandmother, gave amazing hugs, was a pushover at bedtime and gave solid life advice. She is preceded in death by her parents. Deborah is survived by her husband Bill; two sons and daughters-in-law, Bennett and Rebecca Johnson of Onamia and Jacob and Johnna Johnson of Cuyuna; one brother and sister-in-law, Donald and LaVel Rude of Crozet, VA; four sisters and brothers-in-law, Cynthia Tauzell of North St. Paul, Theresa and Chris Webber of Maple Grove, René and Mick Lind of Crosby and Kimberly and Bruce Clarke of Spring, TX; four grandchildren: Derek, Dusty, Ava and Svea,one great-grandchild, Jesse and many nieces and nephews. A Memorial Gathering will be held on Sunday, June 13 from 3 to 6 p.m. at the Deerstand in Deerwood.  Burial was at the Scandia Cemetery in Deerwood.   Arrangements are with the Koop Funeral Home in Crosby.
