Delena "Deanie" Mazar Obit

DELENA "DEANIE" MAZAR, 93, of Crosby, formerly of Cuyuna, died on Nov. 1, 2019 at Heartwood Senior Living Community in Crosby.  She was born on Oct. 10, 1926 in Crosby to William and Mabel (Bellefuille) Harrison.  She married Louis Mazar on Sept. 26, 1948 in Crosby. She was former J.C. Penney employee working in Crosby and was treasurer for the City of Cuyuna for 40+ years.  She was a member of St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Crosby.  She enjoyed knitting, pie making, bird watching and the Minnesota Twins.
Preceding her in death are her parents; two brothers, Clint and Cleve Harrison and a sister, Alice Albie.
She is survived by her husband, Louis; one son and daughter-in-law, Brent and Kristen Mazar of Merrifield; one daughter and son-in-law, Susan and Scott Henderson of South Pasadena, FL; one brother and sister-in-law, Dan and Bernita Harrison of Crosby and nieces and nephews.
Mass of Christian Burial will be 11 a.m. Thursday, Nov. 7 at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Crosby.  Burial will be at the Lakewood Cemetery in Crosby.  Visitation will be one hour prior to the services at the church on Thursday.
