Dennis Cain Celebration

DENNIS JUSTIN CAIN, 79, of Aitkin and Weslaco, TX died on March 23 in Weslaco, TX. He was born on May 3, 1939 in Faribault to Ira and Lorena (Witt) Cain.
Dennis married Colleen (Johnson) Cain on Oct. 8, 1961 in Claremont. Together they settled in Edina where Dennis was a firefighter for the City of Edina for 20 years. Dennis was a Veteran of the U.S. Navy (1956-60) and a member of the Deerwood American Legion Post #557.
Dennis is preceded in death by his parents, Ira and Lorena Cain and an older brother, Richard Cain.
Dennis is survived by his wife of 57 years, Colleen Cain; daughter and son-in-law Tammara and David Welch, Otsego; son and daughter-in-law Todd and Carrie Cain, Champlin; grandchildren Andrew, Jamie, David, Maddie, Carter and Carson; great-grandchildren Ayden and Jacob.
A Celebration of Life in honor of Dennis will be held on Saturday, June 8 from 1 to 5 p.m. at the Walter Scott Erickson American Legion in Deerwood.
