Derek "Buddy" Lee Brown Obit

DEREK "BUDDY" LEE BROWN, 44, of Crosby, died on Sept. 23, 2023 at his home after a battle with cancer.  He was born in Crosby on June 30, 1979 to August and Juanita (Erickson) Brown.  
He loved people and the outdoors, always carving wood and doing art work. He loved nature and riding his electric scooter through the bike trails. He cared about everyone he met, always with a big smile. He will be sadly missed by many.
Preceding him in death is his father.
Buddy is survived by his mother, Juanita Brown of Crosby; his brother, Luke Erickson (Jody Corey) and his sister, Tandy Brown; nephews, an aunt, cousins and many friends.
No services are being held.  
Arrangements are with the Koop Funeral Home in Crosby.
