Dolores m. "Dolly" Hanson Obit

DOLORES M. "DOLLY" HANSON, 89, of Crosby, died on Nov. 26, 2020 at the Harmony House in Brainerd.  She was born on May 16, 1931 in South Bend, IN to John A. and Laurel B. (Graves) DeCent.  Dolly married Albert D. Hanson on June 12, 1948 in Webster, SD.  She retired from the Cuyuna Regional Medical Center in Crosby, working as a Nurse’s Aide and Dietary Aide. After she retirement she went to work as Home Health Aide for Crow Wing County.  She had attended the Assembly of God Church in Crosby and currently the Deerwood Baptist Church, and was a past Girl Scout and Boy Scout leader.  Together with her husband Albert and daughter Annie she performed in a musical band called Al’s Bells. She was an avid seamstress.
Preceding her in death are her parents; her husband Albert; two sons, John Hanson and infant Donald (twin of Dory) and daughter Dolores “Dory” Kozar; sons-in-law, Ron Halberg and Delbert Tisdell; and daughter-in-law, Jessie Hanson.
She is survived by two sons and daughters-in-law, Albert and Annie Hanson of Memphis, TN and George Hanson of Crosby; three daughters, Janice Tisdell of Crosby, Annie Halbert of Hoyt Lakes, and Melody Sha of Klamath, OR; three sisters and brothers-in-law, Valley and Sherman Hoskins of Washington, Sharon and Larry Dobson of Washington  and Carol Hanson of Aitkin; 16 grandchildren, several great-grandchildren and great-great- grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
Services are being planned for a later date.  
Arrangements are with the Koop Funeral Home in Crosby.
