Donald Bobich obit

DONALD BOBICH, 83, of Brainerd, died on Aug. 3, 2021 at Essentia St. Joseph’s Medical Center in Brainerd.   He was born on June 13, 1938 in Crosby to Rade and Mildred (Krinovich) Bobich.  Don was a Crosby-Ironton High School graduate, class of 1956.  He was a retired Vice President of sales with Euclid, Inc. with 35 years of service. The Euc trucks were used extensively in creating the open pits that make up the lakes and hills that are now the prime destination for the mountain bikers.  Don was responsible for world wide sales for Euclid and succeeded in delivering Eucs to foreign destinations including China, Australia, Bougainville Island in addition to many locations in North America (Hanna Mining, U.S. Steel and others on the Mesabi Range). Preceding Don in death are his parents; his wife Shirley in 2015; one daughter, Rhondi Bobich; two brothers, Peter and George Bobich; and three sisters, Mara Grubich, Zorka Martin and Yelka Kirsch. Don is survived by one son and daughter-in-law, Timothy and Lynn Bobich of Meadville, PA; and one grandson and spouse, Nicholas  and Megan Bobich of Grass Lake, MI and son-in-law, Randy Boose. No services are being held as Don requested.   Arrangements are with the Koop Funeral Home in Crosby.
