Donovan "Don" Olson Obit

DONOVAN "DON" OLSON, 88, of Andover formerly of Deerwood, passed away on Feb. 15, 2026. He was born in Minneapolis on Jan. 13, 1938 to Leo and Sybil (Johnson) Olson. Don was united in marriage to Darlene Taylor on Jan. 2, 1965 in Duluth. Don is survived by his wife Darlene; his children, Nancy (Rick) Ringel of Blaine and Christi (Leonard) Haupert of Coon Rapids; Michael (Debra) Olson of Ham Lake; one brother, Thomas (Julia) Olson of Minnetonka; sister-in-law, Anne Olson of New Richmond, WI; six grandchildren; 10 great- grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Preceding Don in death are his parents; one sister, Joan Ganseveld and one brother, Earl Olson. A Memorial Service has been held.  Burial will be at Fort Snelling National Cemetery at a later date.   Arrangements are with the Koop Funeral Home in Crosby.
