Duaba Rae (Torvinen) Smith Obit

Diana Rae (Torvinen) Smith passed away June 13, 2021 at Essentia-St. Joseph’s Hospital in Brainerd. She was born July 24, 1950. She had a very big heart and was loved by her family and friends. She is now in God’s hands. She was proceeded in death by a daughter, Kristy Torvinen of Minneapolis; two brothers, Edward Torvinen II and Eugene Torvinen and two sisters, Sharon (Torvinen) Wright and Linda (Torvinen) Staten. She is survived by two brothers and sisters-in-law, Jimmy and Wren  Torvinen, Rutherforton, NC and Rick and Ina Torvinen, Deerwood; three sisters and brothers-in-law, Patty and Dale VanHorn, Crosby; Cincy and Earl Van Horn, Crosby and Tammy and Bill Schaar, St. Robert, MO; two granddaughters, Kirsty Torvinen, Minneapolis and Kayla Torvinen, Minneapolis and many nieces and nephews. A graveside service for the family will be held in the future.
