Fred L. Ehrich Obit

FRED L. EHRICH, 91, of Brainerd, died on Tuesday, May 3, 2022 at The Commons on Marice, Eagan.
Fred was born on Feb. 17, 1931 to Henry and Anna (Hiebel) Ehrich in Ironton. He met his wife of 66 years, May, while attending Crosby-Ironton High School. He was proud to serve his country in the United States Army and spent his career as a supervisor at Potlatch.
Fred was a loving, sensitive, and prayerful husband, father and grandfather.
He enjoyed spending time outdoors at home on the Mississippi River. Fred loved fishing and hunting with his sons-in-law and grandsons. He especially cherished time with the love of his life, May.
Fred was preceded in death by his loving wife, May and his brother Herald.
He is survived by two daughters, Stephanie (Jeff) Bangs and Paula (Thor) Ehrich Raarup; four grandsons, Anders, August, Axel and Asa Raarup; furry granddog, Ozzy; and many other family members and friends.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, May 20 at 11 a.m. at St. Francis Catholic Church, Brainerd. Family and friends are invited to gather for one hour prior to the service. Interment will take place at Fort Snelling National Cemetery.
