GABRIEL "GABE" ALLAN ALDRIDGE passed away on April 25, 2024 at the age of 42, in Ironton. Born on Aug. 25, 1981 in Duluth,  he was the beloved son of Barry and Alana (Chambers) Aldridge. Gabe exchanged vows with Michelle Silitz on March 10, 2001 in Brainerd, marking the beginning of a beautiful journey together. Gabe embodied the meaning of his name, "strong man of God," living with unwavering faith in Jesus, and serving as a steadfast pillar for his wife and five cherished children. His approach to life was one of wholehearted embrace, relishing each moment with exuberance. Family held the utmost importance for him and he cultivated deep bonds of friendship, earning him the endearing nickname "Slayer." His passions included hunting, fishing, and spending time in God’s creation. Gabe found peace in the woods, on the water and in the tree stand. An intrepid spirit, Gabe was a risk-taker, venturing fearlessly into the realms of mountain big game hunting, deep-sea fishing and entrepreneurial endeavors. Described as a "serial entrepreneur," he was hailed as one of the most driven individuals, undeterred by challenges and fueled by relentless determination. Gabe established several successful ventures, including Aldridge Brothers Construction, AH Contracting and AAA Disposal, and for the past four years, he co-owned Hali-Brite in Brainerd. Despite the brevity of his years, Gabe achieved remarkable milestones, from nurturing five remarkable children to pioneering innovative businesses, all while savoring precious moments in the company of loved ones. Above all, Gabe took immense pride and joy in his role as a devoted father to his five children and a loving husband to his cherished wife. He leaves behind a legacy of love, strength and unwavering devotion. His family will forever remember all the fun times and experiences they created together. Gabe is survived by his beloved wife Michelle, his treasured children Briana, Elijah, Caleb, Violet and Lucy, all of Ironton; his devoted parents Barry and Alana of Ironton; his brother Shawn of Crosby; his sister Stacy (Joshua) May of Harvest, AL and his 14 nieces and nephews. A Celebration of Life will be held on Friday, May 3 at noon, preceded by visitation at 11 a.m., at Heritage Church in Baxter, with a reception to follow. He will be laid to rest at Woodland Cemetery in Irondale Township, honoring his memory and the profound impact he had on all who knew him. Arrangements are with Koop Funeral Home in Crosby.
