James "Jim" Patrick Altrichter Obit

JAMES 'JIM' PATRICK ALTRICHTER, 84, died July 26, 2020 in Waco, TX.
He was born March 20, 1936 in Crosby to James and Mary Ann (Mamie Howe) Altrichter.
he served in the air force for 20 years (1953-1973) going all over the world during that time. After retiring from service, he beame a security guard in Washington DC for former presidents and vice presidents. He later moved to Texas, working as a security guard until he retired at the age of 73.
He was preceded in death by his parents, infant brother Edward in 2017; nephew Thomas in 2013; brother-in-law Gerald in 2015; ex-wife Alma.
He is survived by sister Theresa; brother Robert (Gerry); nieces Jeanne (Mark) Tobalaski and theirnine children; Jerelyn Parent, nephews Rick (Darla) Parent and their two children; Robert Parent  and their three children; lots of cousins including Katheryn (Howe) Sanbeck, NC, and two sons; Richard and family, NC; Raymond Sanbeck, NC and longtime friends Carol G. and Gordon Y. of Texas.
He will be interred in Lakewood Cemetery among family members.
