Jeff Lousteau, MD Obit

JEFF LOUSTEAU, MD, died on March 30, 2025, at home with family by his side. He was an only child born to Paul and Naomi Lyons Lousteau in New Orleans. LA, on July 11, 1943. Attending Jesuit High School and Loyola University he was very proud of his Jesuit education. After graduation from LSU Medical School, he dabbled in several specialties finding his niche in anesthesia. He was a loving husband and father. Funny and brilliant, he described himself as a "Nerd." He embraced computer technology early on and became quite computer savvy. He served as a Major in the Alabama National Guard. He was a member of MENSA. He enjoying spending time in the Crosby-Ironton area. He is survived by his wife of 29 years, Sandra and daughter Paula Lousteau. He was preceded in death by his parents and stepson, Sterling Egan. A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, May 17 starting at 11 a.m. at the Ironton American Legion.
