Joan Beverly Hallada Obit

On July 16 we bid farewell to Joan Beverly Hallada, a beloved family member and friend who lived a full 92 years. Joan Beverly Johnson was born on Nov. 14, 1931 in Jennings, MO. She was a beloved wife, mother, gradmother, great-grandmother and great-great-grandmother who touched the hearts of all who knew her.   A true social butterfly, Joan loved being surrounded by people and was involved in various clubs including bridge club, art club and study club. She took immense pride in her beautiful yard filled with flowers and a butterfly garden. Let's remember her spirit and vibrant personality together. She was preceded in death by her parents, Beulah and Louis, along with two sisters, Garnet Lee and Celeste. Joan is survived by her husband of 70+ years, her six children, nine grandchildren,  10 great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren. We will be honoring her life with a celebration on Saturday, Aug. 31 from 1 to 4 p.m. at Heartwood Senior Living Community located at 500 Heartwood Drrive in  Crosby. Please join us as we remember the wonderful person she was and the joy she brought to all who knew her.
